Privacy Policy — Photonect

Photonect (operated by Al-Bawaba for Digital Marketing LTD, Iraq — "Photonect", "we", "us") provides creative and AI tooling at photonect.net and ai.photonect.net (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

1. What we collect

Account data when you sign up to AI Studio: your name, email address, and profile picture supplied by your sign-in provider (Google or email magic link).
Content you submit: brand briefs, uploaded images, text prompts, and any other inputs you provide to AI Studio.
Generated outputs: brand kits, logos, social posts, and other artifacts the Services produce for you.
Contact form submissions on photonect.net (name, email, message).
Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser metadata, and error reports — collected for product quality and security.

2. How we use it

To operate, secure, and improve the Services.
To run AI generations on your behalf via our trusted providers (Anthropic for text reasoning, kie.ai and similar for image generation, Canva for design integrations).
To respond to contact form submissions and support requests.
To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.

3. Use of Google user data

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email, and Google profile picture via Google's OAuth flow. We use this only to create and authenticate your AI Studio account. We do not sell or share Google user data with third parties, and we do not use it to train AI models. You can revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

4. Who we share with

We share data only with vendors that help us run the Services:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting (Frankfurt, EU).
Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery.
Anthropic, kie.ai, Canva — AI generation providers; only the prompts you submit are sent to perform your request.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Sentry — error tracking and performance monitoring.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Where we store data

Account data and generated content are stored in Supabase (Frankfurt, eu-central-1). Email delivery routes through Resend (Ireland, eu-west-1). Some processing temporarily occurs in the regions of our AI vendors.

6. Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Generated artifacts remain available in your AI Studio account until you delete them or close your account. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months for support follow-up.

7. Your rights

You may at any time:

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Correct inaccurate information.
Withdraw consent for optional processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@photonect.net. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use functional cookies required for sign-in sessions and security. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the Services evolve. Material changes will be announced on this page; the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
